A really great company, wish i would've found them yrs ago. Very nice professional ppl, extremely long suffering & patient. Its unlikely i ever leave. If there was a btr company i would've found it!

Pros

Once you get passed paying for your equipment its not bad. Its just being in the hole is what makes people leave at the beginning.

Pros

The dispatchers i have are great non pushy very helpful.

Cons

The trailer leasing. Some got nice stuff i got a rusted out pile. And your forced to take what they have. Plus dont do a lease truck and trailer here its just crazy and you'll end up with worn out junk pay too much

It is what you make it. Could possibly be the best lease purchase in the industry but their leasing company impel is a scam. Service every 90 days and can only go to their shop in Chicago which will kill a week of revenue if you’re lucky. Service shop will have your truck on Monday and not look at it until Wednesday and will always find something wrong which will keep you down for another 2-4 days to fix and impel will not forgive you for this and will still want their payment (ie you’re in the hole a week and not your fault). Nobody ever answers the phone quicker to text and hope for a reply back. Other than that if you don’t need anything and doing everything right and safe no one will bother you.

Pros

Book your own freight, pick your home time, set your own schedule. Good safety department and load securement guy running it

Cons

A lot of brokers won’t work with carrier one because drivers book loads and bail on them. Impel leasing and connect freight (service/maintenance center), fms don’t answer the phone.

Drove for them for 6 months with NO HOME TIME. The truck payments takes your whole check so nothing to live off of while on the road.

Pros

Nothing

Cons

No money to be made here. Dispatcher smart mouthed monster
