Summertime is very busy, juggling a break in can get a bit complicated. Communication from sales to you to the consumer causes issues more often than not. The job from a glance is very easy, but little things here and there during the day causes delays and issues that make your job harder. Home time is great as it is only local. Store to store varies on how things are handled.

Pros

Very easy to get into the job

Cons

Very slow days in the winter and working weekends on a rotation.

Overall not a bad gig, just sometimes it lacks consistency. Some days you'll be swapped and be there for 10 or 11 hours woth stuff you have to take out. Other days you'll wonder how they have business as there's only 1 thing, and of course you don't want to go home as to affect your pay or in the off chance a last minute delivery is scheduled.

Pros

Home everyday. Typically no long travels.

Cons

At the will of numerous managers or fulfillment as multiple hands are part of orders. Stuff goes wrong easily. People make false promises to customers on delevery times when you may be out on a 2 hour delivery. Basically the "telephone" game.

You will be forced to work over 14 hours a day, breaking DOT HoS rules, not having safe equipment, trucks out of inspection, and managers threatening to fire you if you don't keep working longer than legally safe. They will run you into the ground with work. They will promise customers to have there stuff delivered first thing the next day when they know it won't be there for a 3-6 days, since delivery is backed up. Managers know equipment is broken/faulty but force the driver to keep on working, My trainer had only been there 2 weeks longer than I, and I found out about things he never new about and had to train the trainer. You will have to use your own cell phone for a GPS as they won't give you the password to use the company GPS.

Pros

Pay is decent and OT after 40 hours,

Cons

Everything but pay, managers, equipment,

Managers are awful, equipment is terrible, maintenance on trucks is almost non existent. Pay is so low it's not even worth mentioning. They treat you like you are scum. Not a real truck driving job.

Pros

There are no pros.

Cons

Horrible managers, pay, equipment, treatment
