Keeps new equipment, dedicated on site 24/7 maintenance department. Treats drivers well, knows your name, assigned dispatcher. Run as hard as you want, get home every week or stay out longer if you want. Typically leave on Sunday and get home either Friday - or Saturday if you want an extra load/pay. Family owned, have met the owner several times at the terminal when I'm passing through and during monthly BBQs. They got me home immediately for a family emergency, no questions asked and didn't bug me about when I'd be back to work. Made $88,000 last year and was home every week.

Pros

Great ownership, good pay. Make as much as you want if you are willing to work for it. Detention, layover, weekly minimum pay if things go wrong and not your fault. No touch freight. Treat you like a human being.

Cons

Some slow customers, a lot of east coast and northeast (no NYC), not enough drop and hook.

The best equipment always kept updated. Home time is great and always work with you for your family if you need time off. Vacation time is great. The pay is top notch, miles are most always between 2,200 and 2,500 a week. Loads are always available to run have hardly ever waited for a load to be sent to me.

Pros

Great equipment always kept up. Great dispatch, safety, equipment manager and great family environment. Great pay All around great company to work for.

Regional driver, home every week. Good company, rewards hard work and a willing attitude. Doesn't push to do anything illegal or questionable. Runs you like you want to be ran. Family owned, everybody knows everyone. Keeps good equipment and on site maintenance.

Pros

Treated well, great safety bonus, constant pay raises, monthly driver BBQ, union benefits. Knows your name.

Cons

some "weekends" are only 34 hrs. Have to work Sun - Fri or Mon - Sat to make good money, not a M-F job.

I've been here for 5 years and unlike other companies the healthcare is still top notch and wages have gone up. Our safety bonus just doubled to $2,000 + per year. I enjoy weekly home time and a paycheck I my family can count on. The office staff has many past CDL drivers and they try their best to understand what us drivers go through.

Pros

Family owned, you are a part of the family, modern well maintained trucks and a paycheck you can be proud to bring home.

Cons

Hard work! If you are safe and follow procedures you'll be find, standards are high.
